I am a leader as my strengths have already been tested with 25 years of working my way up through the ranks with the Sacramento Sheriff's Department and as a ten-year veteran on the Elk Grove City Council. Leadership:
Accomplishments & Awards:
Education:
I have the support and endorsement of my peers, those I manage, elected officials, business leaders and community groups because of what I have accomplished as a professional both at the executive level and working the streets. I have given back to the Sacramento Community through fundraising efforts supporting organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento, the Children's Receiving Home, WIND Youth Services and many other youth programs. I am a proven leader, not afraid to do myself what I will be asking of those within the Sacramento Sheriff's Department and I would be honored to receive your support on November 2nd! - Captain Jim Cooper |

We need experienced leadership combined with the law enforcement background that I bring to the table!
